Since I haven't posted a journal since October, and a Deviation since February...I figure I'm due to put something up. So here's another of my standard "I'm not dead" messages. Mostly been busy with school and everything that comes with it, and I've really lost some motivation, but at the same time, I'm determined. But that's normal.

Even though its been over a year since I've posted any artwork, I've actually done a fair amount. I even have some artwork from last year's art classes and such to post, but I'm never convinced it's good enough to do anything with it.

I'm still making Anime Music Videos, despite the fact that I seem dead there too. I'm seriously less than 2 hours away from finishing one (out of the like... 20 or so I've already dedicated to it), but I just cannot find the motivation to finish it. I keep looking at is as a whole and saying "It sucks, and people don't want another Liger Zero tribute".

For the last couple months, I've been plotting with a friend to go to an anime convention in Novemeber, so I'll be working on at least one costume for myself and maybe friends we're dragging along. Not saying what I'm going as because I really am not completely positive yet. But it'll be our first convention and first cosplays, so we're really excited!

I really need to get more life drawings under my belt, since so much of it is just cartoons. Animations too, for that matter - I need all the practice I can get. So expect some more of that, but hopefully staying away from little pixel animations and work on some 2D hand-drawn animation or some done is Flash. And speaking of pixel animations... I really want to come back to roleplaying, so I'm hoping working on Zoids artwork will help get me going again. I just feel so guilty looking at the site and thinking how much I've abandoned it... it'll be hard to jump back in.

I'm not making a list for this summer... it obviously didn't work out last time. I'll probably just type one and print it to put it right above my computer so it always haunts me.

That's all I have to say... now to figure out where to start with uploading things!
